Where to find luggage storage in Cabo San Lucas
Our BagDrop network covers the spots where visitors spend the most time. Here's the rundown:
The Marina
The Marina is the central hub of Cabo San Lucas. Fishing boats, tour boats, and yachts fill the harbour, and the surrounding boardwalk is packed with restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. This is where you'll book whale watching tours, snorkelling trips to Pelican Rock, and sunset cruises around El Arco. It's also one of the busiest pedestrian areas in town. The walkways are wide but they fill up fast, and most boat operators don't want you bringing extra luggage aboard. A nearby BagDrop is the smart move before any Marina activity.
Medano Beach
Medano is the only safe swimming beach in Cabo proper, and it shows. The sand is lined with beach clubs like Mango Deck, The Office, and Billygan's, all blasting music and serving drinks. Water sports vendors rent jet skis, paddleboards, and banana boats. It's a full party scene during the day and you do not want luggage anywhere near the sand and salt water. Store your bags before you head to Medano and all you need to carry is sunscreen and your wallet.
Downtown Cabo
Downtown Cabo runs along Boulevard Lazaro Cardenas and the surrounding streets. This is where you'll find the more local side of things: taco stands, pharmacies, shops that aren't aimed at tourists, and a handful of great restaurants. The famous Cabo Wabo Cantina (Sammy Hagar's place) is here too. The streets can get busy, especially near the main intersections, and there's not much sidewalk storage. If you're exploring downtown, leave the bags behind.
Land's End and El Arco
Land's End is the rocky point at the very tip of the peninsula where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. El Arco, the iconic stone arch, is the main attraction and you can only reach it by water taxi or tour boat from Medano Beach or the Marina. Lover's Beach and Divorce Beach are also here. You're getting on small boats and climbing over rocks, so you want as little stuff with you as possible. Drop everything at a BagDrop and take only what you need for the boat ride.
San Jose del Cabo
San Jose del Cabo is Cabo's quieter, more cultured sibling, about 30 minutes up the Tourist Corridor. The town centre has a beautiful church, art galleries lining the streets, and the famous Thursday evening art walk where galleries open their doors and the streets fill with people. The vibe is more relaxed and more walkable than Cabo San Lucas, but the narrow sidewalks in the gallery district aren't great for bags. Stash your stuff before making the drive over.
