    How does BagsAway work? It's super simple.
    Head to Bagsaway.com - pop your address, neighborhood, or landmark into the map, pick a nearby location and book it online. You’ll get a confirmation email, and show it (on your phone) when you arrive at the location, along with a photo ID. Then drop off your bags, go live your best luggage-free life, and swing back to grab your things when you’re done exploring (following the same process!) . That’s it smooth, secure, and totally stress-free. Easy, breezy, bag-free travel just the way it should be!
    Are there size and weight restrictions?
    We don’t have strict weight limits, but we *do* organize storage by bag type to keep things clear and fair. * **Small bags:** purses, tote bags, small backpacks, shopping bags * **Large bags:** suitcases (carry-ons and checked), duffels, larger backpacks * **Irregular items:** strollers, sports equipment bags, surfboard bags, golf bags, and other oversized/odd-shaped items You’re charged **per item**, based on the category it fits. If you’re not sure which category to pick, message us and we’ll help.
    What type of items can I store?
    Although we mainly store luggage, we don’t discriminate - whatever your storage needs are, we’re here to help! We can also store sports equipment (ski, golf, snowboard, skates, etc), strollers, bicycles, boxes, keys, coats, and more! Have a special request? Drop us a line and we’ll see what we can do.
    Do I need to book in advance?
    Booking ahead is a smart move, but no stress if you’re more of a last-minute planner. Lots of travelers book the day before or even just hours before dropping off their bags. Most of our storage partners have plenty of space, so you can easily book on the fly. Whenever you’re ready, we’re ready! Remember, if your plans change you can cancel your reservation before the drop time with no penalty!
    How much does it cost?
    Rates start as low as a few bucks per bag or for the whole day, way cheaper (and way more convenient) than lugging your stuff around. You’ll see the exact price when you select a location on our site or get an estimate HERE (connect to calculator). just simple, affordable storage that keeps your hands (and plans) free. You can pay using Credit card/GooglePay/ApplePay/PayLink.
    Can I store my things for longer than a few hours or days?
    You bet! Just shoot us an email at [email protected], and we’ll get back with a discounted quote. We’ll make sure your bags are safe and sound for as long as you need.
    I can't pick up my bags-can someone else grab them for me?
    Generally, our policy is that the same person should drop off and pick up the bags it's a matter of safety and security. That said, we totally get that plans can change. If someone else needs to handle the pickup or drop-off please email us ahead of time with the name of the person picking up or dropping off for you, and we’ll make sure the host is in the loop. The person will need to show the booking confirmation and a valid photo ID when they arrive.
    Is my stuff safe?
    Absolutely. All our locations are vetted and secure, and each booking includes CAD $1,200 insurance protection for each stored item. We partner with trusted local businesses that treat your bags like VIPs. You drop them off, we keep them safe—it’s a win-win.

    The location is closed-what now?!
    First off, we're really sorry. While it's rare, sometimes things pop up and a shop might not be open during its usual hours. If that happens, don’t panic call or WhatsApp us right away at 1-844-647-2247. We’ll get in touch with the host to see how quickly they can reopen. If that’s not possible, we’ll find you the nearest alternative spot. Worst case? We’ll make sure you’re fully refunded for this unfortunate inconvenience. And if it causes a major disruption, we may be able to help with alternative travel costs too within reason, of course. If you’ve got a flight to catch, please don’t miss it because shipping your bag is almost always cheaper than rebooking a ticket. Always keep your travel documents with you just in case. And one last thing double-check the opening hours before you book or drop off. If you return after a location has closed, there’s not much we can do, but you can bet we’ll try our hardest to help.
