Where to find luggage storage in Columbus
Our BagDrop network covers the areas visitors spend the most time in. Here's a rundown:
Short North Arts District
The Short North runs along High Street between downtown and the Ohio State campus, and it's become the heart of Columbus's creative scene. Galleries, independent boutiques, craft cocktail bars and some of the best restaurants in the city line both sides of the street. On the first Saturday of every month, the whole district stays open late for Gallery Hop. The sidewalks get packed and the energy is great, but not if you're trying to navigate with a suitcase. BagDrop spots in the Short North let you gallery-hop unburdened.
German Village
German Village is one of the best-preserved historic neighbourhoods in the country. Brick streets, cottage-style houses, flower gardens everywhere, and the Book Loft, a 32-room independent bookstore that you can easily get lost in for an hour. Schiller Park is a nice green space in the centre of it all. The brick sidewalks and narrow streets are charming on foot but genuinely annoying with rolling luggage. Drop your bags first and actually enjoy the stroll.
Ohio State University and Campus Area
Ohio State's campus is massive and beautiful, and on game days it transforms into one of the biggest party scenes in college football. Even on a quiet day, there's plenty to see, from the Wexner Center for the Arts to Mirror Lake to the massive Ohio Stadium (the Horseshoe). If you're visiting a student, attending a campus event or tailgating before a game, you don't want to be the person hauling a suitcase across the Oval. A nearby BagDrop solves that.
Arena District and Nationwide Arena
The Arena District is Columbus's entertainment hub. Nationwide Arena is home to the Blue Jackets and hosts concerts and events year-round. The district also has a bunch of restaurants, bars and the Huntington Park baseball stadium. On event nights the area is lively and walkable. If you're coming straight from a trip or have bags from a hotel checkout, a BagDrop in the district lets you enjoy the game or show without hauling stuff through the concourse.
Downtown and the Convention Center
Downtown Columbus has the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the Ohio Statehouse, COSI (one of the top science centres in the country) and the new riverfront development along the Scioto Mile. Conventions bring thousands of visitors who often have bags at the wrong time. COSI alone can eat up a full day, and it's a lot more fun when you're not babysitting luggage. BagDrop locations downtown keep your hands free for all of it.
Easton Town Center and Polaris
Easton Town Center is a huge outdoor shopping and dining complex on the northeast side of Columbus. It's basically a small town of stores, restaurants and entertainment, including a comedy club and movie theatres. If you're shopping at Easton or grabbing a meal in the area, bags are dead weight. BagDrop locations let you shop freely and pick everything up when you're done.
