Where to find luggage storage in Dallas
Our BagDrop network covers the areas visitors spend the most time in. Here's a rundown:
Deep Ellum
Deep Ellum is Dallas's live music and street art capital. It's east of downtown and every block has murals, bars, restaurants and venues packed into old warehouse buildings. On weekends the sidewalks get busy with people bar-hopping and checking out the scene. The vibe is casual and walkable, but lugging a suitcase through the crowds on Elm Street takes the fun out of it. Drop your bags at a BagDrop and enjoy the neighbourhood properly.
Bishop Arts District
Bishop Arts is in the Oak Cliff area, south of downtown. It's full of independent shops, galleries, restaurants and coffee spots. The neighbourhood has a small-town feel with colourful storefronts and streets made for strolling. You'll want to duck into vintage shops and bakeries, and that's a lot easier when your hands are free. We have BagDrop spots in the area.
Downtown and Dealey Plaza
Downtown Dallas is anchored by Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum, Reunion Tower with its observation deck, and the old red courthouse. The Convention Center is here too, which means a lot of business travellers pass through. If you're spending a day sightseeing or you're between meetings and hotel check-in, a BagDrop downtown lets you move freely without dragging anything around.
Dallas Arts District
The Dallas Arts District is one of the largest urban arts districts in the country. The Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, the Meyerson Symphony Center and the AT&T Performing Arts Center are all within walking distance of each other. If you're doing a museum day or catching a show, you want to be comfortable. Leave your bags at a BagDrop and give yourself the freedom to wander.
Uptown
Uptown is just north of downtown and it's where a lot of the city's restaurants, rooftop bars and nightlife are concentrated. McKinney Avenue runs through the middle and the free McKinney Avenue Trolley connects it to downtown. It's a popular area for visitors staying at nearby hotels. If you've checked out early and want to enjoy a long brunch or explore the shops, stash your bags first.
Victory Park and American Airlines Center
Victory Park is home to the American Airlines Center where the Mavericks and Stars play. On game nights and concert nights the area fills up fast. The last thing you want is to be the person squeezing past rows of seats with a backpack on. There are BagDrop locations nearby so you can store your stuff and enjoy the event bag-free.
