Where to find luggage storage in Fredericton
Our BagDrop network covers the spots where visitors spend the most time. Here's the rundown:
Downtown and Officers' Square
Officers' Square is the heart of historic Fredericton. It's where the Garrison District meets the downtown core, with stone walls, restored barracks and summer concerts. The surrounding streets are lined with shops, restaurants and cafes. The sidewalks are narrow in spots and the area gets busy during festivals, so dropping your bags at a nearby BagDrop makes it easy to explore.
Garrison District
The Garrison District preserves the look and feel of British military life in the 1800s. You can wander through the historic buildings, watch demonstrations and take in the river views. It's a compact area but the stone pathways and tight doorways are not kind to roller bags. Store your stuff and enjoy the history without the hassle.
Beaverbrook Art Gallery and Queen Street
The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is one of the finest small galleries in Canada. Queen Street runs along the river and connects the gallery to the Legislative Assembly and the downtown core. It's a great walking route, but you won't want to lug suitcases through the gallery or up the hill to the legislature.
UNB campus area
The University of New Brunswick campus sits on a hill above the river. Students, parents and researchers flow in and out throughout the year. The campus is walkable but spread out, and carrying bags between buildings or to and from downtown eats up time. A BagDrop nearby keeps you mobile.
Saint John River waterfront
The walking and cycling trails along the Saint John River are a highlight of Fredericton. In summer you'll see kayakers, picnickers and people enjoying the green space. The riverfront is beautiful but there's nowhere to safely leave bags while you take a stroll or rent a bike. Drop them off first.
Boyce Farmers Market area
The Boyce Farmers Market runs on Saturdays and is a Fredericton institution. Local produce, baked goods, crafts and hot breakfast draw crowds. The market gets packed and the aisles are tight. If you're in town for the weekend and want to stock up on local treats, leave your bags at a BagDrop and browse with both hands free.
