Where to find luggage storage in Houston
Our BagDrop network covers the areas visitors spend the most time in. Here's a rundown:
Downtown and Minute Maid Park
Downtown Houston has Minute Maid Park (home of the Astros), Discovery Green park, the Theater District and a growing number of restaurants and bars. On game days or concert nights, downtown fills up quickly. If you've checked out of your hotel and still have hours to kill before first pitch, drop your bags at a BagDrop and enjoy the pre-game scene without dragging a suitcase through the crowds.
Museum District
Houston's Museum District has 19 museums, and several of them are completely free, including the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (on certain days), the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and the Houston Museum of Natural Science's main hall. You could easily spend an entire day here. The galleries are big and the walking adds up. Leave your bags at a BagDrop and give yourself the freedom to wander without watching your stuff.
Montrose
Montrose is one of Houston's most interesting neighbourhoods. It's artsy, eclectic and packed with thrift stores, brunch spots, murals and independent businesses. Westheimer Road is the main drag and it's worth walking end to end. It's the kind of place where you want to duck into a coffee shop, browse a record store, and grab tacos from a truck. Much easier without luggage.
The Heights
The Heights is a historic neighbourhood north of downtown with charming bungalows, antique shops, local restaurants and a 19th Street strip that feels like a small town. The White Oak Music Hall is here too. If you're exploring the area, the walkable streets and shop-hopping are best enjoyed hands-free. We have BagDrop locations nearby.
NRG Park and the Medical Center
NRG Stadium is where the Texans play and where the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo takes over every spring. The Texas Medical Center is the largest medical complex in the world, drawing patients and visitors from everywhere. Whether you're here for a game, the rodeo or a hospital visit, a BagDrop nearby means you're not hauling luggage through parking lots and corridors.
Galleria and Uptown
The Galleria is one of the largest shopping malls in the country and the surrounding Uptown area is full of hotels, restaurants and offices. A lot of business travellers end up in this part of town. If you've checked out and have a few hours before your flight, or you just want to shop without babysitting your bags, there are BagDrop spots in the area.
