Where to find luggage storage in Indianapolis
Our BagDrop network covers the spots where visitors actually spend their time. Here's where you can drop your bags:
Downtown and Monument Circle
The heart of Indianapolis. Monument Circle is the literal centre of the city with the Soldiers and Sailors Monument right in the middle. Most of the big hotels, the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium are all within walking distance. If you're in town for Gen Con, the NFL Combine, a Colts game or any of the major conventions, this is where you'll be spending most of your time. We have BagDrop locations nearby so you don't have to haul your stuff through the skywalks all day.
Mass Ave (Massachusetts Avenue)
Mass Ave is the coolest street in Indy. It runs diagonally through the city and it's lined with restaurants, breweries, galleries and independent shops. If you want good food and a neighbourhood that actually feels alive, this is it. It's also walkable, which makes it even more annoying to be carrying bags. Drop them at a BagDrop and spend the afternoon bouncing between Tinker Street and Bru Burger.
Fountain Square
Fountain Square has become Indy's go-to spot for live music, vintage shops and dive bars with character. The vibe is artsy and a bit rough around the edges, which is part of the charm. It's south of downtown and easy to get to. If you're catching a show at the Hi-Fi or exploring the Fountain Square Theatre, leave your bags with us first.
Broad Ripple
Broad Ripple is a few miles north of downtown along the White River and the Monon Trail. It's known for its bars, restaurants and a more relaxed, almost college-town feel. The Monon Trail runs right through it, so it's popular with runners and cyclists. If you're heading up here for the day from your hotel downtown, you don't need your bags coming along for the ride.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway area
The Speedway neighbourhood is about 20 minutes west of downtown and it comes alive during May for the Indy 500 and Carb Day. Even outside of race season, the IMS Museum is worth a visit. On race days the area gets absolutely packed and you definitely don't want to be carrying extra bags through the crowds. Store your stuff before you head over.
Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium
The Indiana Convention Center is one of the largest in the country and it hosts everything from Gen Con to the FFA Convention to major trade shows. Lucas Oil Stadium is attached to it and is home to the Colts. If you're attending a multi-day event and checking out of your hotel mid-conference, a BagDrop location nearby means you don't miss a session.
