Where to find luggage storage in Little Rock
Our BagDrop network covers the spots where visitors spend the most time. Here's the rundown:
River Market District
The River Market is the beating heart of downtown Little Rock. It runs along the south bank of the Arkansas River and it's packed with restaurants, the indoor Ottenheimer Market Hall, a weekend farmers market, and the Riverwalk trail. This is where most visitors start their day and it's a great spot to be on foot. But the sidewalks get busy, the market stalls are tight, and you don't want to be the person blocking foot traffic with a roller bag. Drop your stuff at a nearby BagDrop and enjoy the market at your own pace.
Clinton Presidential Center
The Clinton Presidential Library sits on the river just east of the River Market in a striking glass-and-steel building that juts out over the water. The museum covers the Clinton presidency in detail and has rotating exhibits. The surrounding park and bridge are beautiful for walking. Security at the entrance means bags can slow you down, and there's no public storage inside. A BagDrop nearby keeps things simple.
SoMa (South Main)
SoMa is Little Rock's arts and creative district, centered on South Main Street south of the river. It's home to galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, breweries like Lost Forty, and restaurants like The Root Cafe. First Friday art walks bring the whole neighbourhood alive. The area is walkable and fun to explore, and it's much easier when you aren't juggling bags between stops.
Big Dam Bridge and the River Trail
The Big Dam Bridge spans the Arkansas River at Murray Lock and Dam and it's the longest pedestrian and cycling bridge in North America. The Arkansas River Trail loops through both Little Rock and North Little Rock, connecting parks, scenic overlooks, and two Rivers Park. Whether you're biking, running, or just walking across for the view, bags are not something you want on the trail. Stash them at a BagDrop before you head out.
Downtown and Capitol Area
The Arkansas State Capitol building sits at the west end of Capitol Avenue and it's open for tours. The surrounding blocks hold government offices, the Old State House Museum (where Clinton gave his victory speeches), and a mix of restaurants and shops. It's all walkable from the River Market but the distances add up, and hauling bags between landmarks gets old fast. A BagDrop in the area lets you cover more ground.
Central High School National Historic Site
Little Rock Central High School is where nine Black students integrated an all-white school in 1957 under the protection of federal troops. The visitor centre across the street tells the full story. It's about two miles from downtown and well worth the visit. The site is respectful and reflective, and it's best experienced without bags to worry about.
