Where to find luggage storage in Portland
Our BagDrop network covers the areas visitors spend the most time in. Here's a rundown:
Pearl District and Powell's Books
The Pearl District was warehouses and now it's galleries, boutiques and cafes. Powell's Books takes up a full city block and you could easily lose an afternoon in there. The sidewalks are busy and the aisles inside Powell's are packed. This is not where you want a suitcase. Drop your bags at a BagDrop and browse hands-free.
Hawthorne and Alberta Arts
Hawthorne runs through Southeast Portland with vintage shops, record stores and cafes. Alberta Arts is a few miles north with a similar vibe and the famous Last Thursday street fair. Both neighbourhoods are best explored on foot, bouncing in and out of shops. Much easier without bags.
Mississippi Ave and North Portland
Mississippi Ave has become one of Portland's go-to strips for food, drinks and shopping. It's compact and walkable. Store your bags first and you can move freely between spots instead of worrying about where to park your luggage.
Japanese Garden, Forest Park and Washington Park
The Japanese Garden sits in Washington Park and is one of the finest outside Japan. Forest Park has over 80 miles of trails and sits right in the city. Neither place is suitcase-friendly. Drop your bags at a BagDrop before you head up the hill.
Providence Park and Downtown
Providence Park hosts the Timbers and Thorns. On match days the area fills up with fans. The concourses and seating are tight. Downtown Portland has the main hotels, the transit mall and easy access to the Pearl. We have BagDrop locations so you can catch a game or explore without luggage.
