Where to find luggage storage in Tampa
Our BagDrop network covers the areas visitors spend the most time in. Here's a rundown:
Ybor City
Ybor City was once the cigar capital of the world. The brick streets and historic buildings still have that vibe. By day you can watch cigars get rolled, visit the Ybor City Museum and grab Cuban sandwiches. By night the bars and clubs come alive. The sidewalks are narrow and the crowds get thick. This is not where you want to be with a suitcase. Leave your bags at a BagDrop and enjoy Ybor hands-free.
Downtown and the Riverwalk
The Tampa Riverwalk runs along the Hillsborough River through downtown. You'll pass the Tampa Museum of Art, the Glazer Children's Museum, the Florida Aquarium and plenty of restaurants. Amalie Arena sits right there for Lightning games. The walk is flat and scenic, but it's a lot better without bags. We have BagDrop spots in the area.
Channelside and the Port
Channelside is where the cruise ships dock. If you're getting on or off a ship, you might have hours to kill. The area has restaurants, the aquarium and easy access to the Riverwalk. Port parking is expensive and the terminals don't have great bag storage. A BagsAway BagDrop lets you explore Tampa instead of waiting around.
Raymond James Stadium (Bucs) and the Sports Corridor
Raymond James Stadium is home to the Buccaneers and hosts big concerts. It's a bit south of downtown. On game days the lots fill with tailgaters and the area buzzes. If you're in town for a game and have time before kickoff, drop your bags at a BagDrop so you can move around freely.
SoHo (South Howard) and Bayshore
South Howard Avenue, or SoHo, is Tampa's main strip for bars, restaurants and nightlife. Bayshore Boulevard runs along the water with one of the longest continuous sidewalks in the US. It's a popular spot for runners and walkers. Both areas are best enjoyed without luggage. We have BagDrop locations nearby.
Armature Works
Armature Works is a restored streetcar barn turned food hall and market. It's got stalls for every cuisine, a rooftop bar and events on the weekends. The space is open and airy but gets packed. Leave your bags elsewhere and focus on the food.
