Where to find luggage storage in Nashville
Our BagDrop network covers the spots where visitors spend the most time. Here's the rundown:
Lower Broadway and Downtown
This is ground zero for Nashville tourism. Lower Broadway runs about four blocks between the river and 5th Avenue and every inch of it is packed with honky-tonks, boot shops and neon signs. Tootsies, Robert's Western World, Nudie's, The Stage, Kid Rock's. It's loud and crowded and genuinely fun. The problem is that it's also the last place you want to drag luggage through. The sidewalks are jammed, the bars are standing-room-only, and bouncers aren't thrilled about roller bags. Drop your stuff at a nearby BagDrop and enjoy Broadway the right way.
The Gulch
The Gulch is a trendy neighbourhood just south of Broadway that used to be an old rail yard. Now it's full of boutique shops, restaurants like Biscuit Love and Two Hands, and the famous "What Lifts You" angel wings mural. It's very walkable and compact, which also means there's not a lot of room for luggage. If you're headed here for brunch or shopping, a BagDrop nearby makes the whole visit easier.
Music Row and Midtown
Music Row is where the actual music industry lives. Record labels, studios and publishing houses line 16th and 17th Avenues. Midtown sits right next to it with a solid bar and restaurant scene along Elliston Place and around Vanderbilt University. If you're doing a studio tour, visiting Vanderbilt, or just bar-hopping through Midtown, bags just get in the way.
East Nashville
East Nashville is where the locals eat, drink and shop. The Five Points area is the heart of it, with spots like The Pharmacy (killer burgers), Mas Tacos, and a bunch of vintage shops and record stores. It's got a different vibe from Broadway. More relaxed, more neighbourhood-y. You'll want both hands free to dig through vinyl bins at Grimey's or carry a tray of tacos from Mas Tacos Por Favor.
Germantown
Germantown is one of Nashville's oldest neighbourhoods, just north of the Capitol building. It's had a massive revival with restaurants like Monell's (family-style Southern cooking), Rolf and Daughters, and City House. The Nashville Farmers' Market is on the edge of the neighbourhood too. It's a great walking area, and the sidewalks are narrow in spots, so you'll be glad you left your bags behind.
Nissan Stadium and the Riverfront
Nissan Stadium sits right across the Cumberland River from downtown and it's home to the Tennessee Titans. On game days the pedestrian bridge from Broadway fills up with fans. The riverfront area around the stadium also hosts concerts and festivals throughout the year. Security lines move faster when you're not carrying extra stuff, and you'll have more room in your seat without bags at your feet.
