Where to find luggage storage in St. Louis
Our BagDrop network covers the areas visitors spend the most time in. Here's a rundown:
Gateway Arch and Downtown
The Gateway Arch is the icon of St. Louis. You can ride to the top for views across the city and the Mississippi. The museum underneath tells the story of westward expansion. Downtown sits right there with hotels, restaurants and the stadium a short walk away. The arch grounds are big and the lines for the tram can be long. Leave your bags at a BagDrop and enjoy the experience without extra weight.
Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village
Busch Stadium is one of the best ballparks in America. Ballpark Village across the street has bars, restaurants and a rooftop deck with views into the stadium. On game days the whole area fills with red. If you're in town for a Cardinals game and have time before first pitch, drop your bags at a BagDrop. The stadium doesn't allow large bags inside anyway.
City Museum
The City Museum is not your typical museum. It's a massive playground built from salvaged materials. You crawl through caves, slide down chutes and climb through aircraft fuselages. It's amazing and it's chaotic. Bags are a no-go. Store them at a BagDrop beforehand.
Forest Park
Forest Park is bigger than Central Park. The Saint Louis Zoo is free and one of the best in the country. The Saint Louis Art Museum is free too. There are miles of paths, paddleboats and the Muny for outdoor theatre. You could spend a full day here. Do it without luggage.
The Hill (Italian neighbourhood)
The Hill is St. Louis's Italian neighbourhood. Restaurants like Charlie Gitto's, Zia's and Anthonino's serve pasta, toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake. The streets are lined with red-brick houses and family-run delis. It's a food pilgrimage. The shops and restaurants are cozy. Leave your bags elsewhere.
Soulard and Laclede's Landing
Soulard has the oldest farmers market west of the Mississippi and some of the city's best bars. Laclede's Landing is a cobblestone district by the river with restaurants and nightlife. Both are historic, walkable and not designed for suitcases. We have BagDrop spots in the area.
Delmar Loop
The Delmar Loop is in University City, just west of Forest Park. It's a strip of indie shops, restaurants, vintage stores and the Pageant concert venue. It stretches for blocks and rewards wandering. Much easier without bags.
